Conventional wisdoms state a roof can be shingled up to three layers thick. We disagree. Our workmanship is guaranteed for life because we tear off down to the original decking. This ensures a perfect seal and also to discover any damaged decking underneath.
With a completely stripped deck to serve as our blank canvas, we install a minimum of two feet of ice and water shield around all edges and in any valleys. This is followed by quality underlayment and drip edge. Where applicable, properly-installed flashing also adds additional protection against water infiltration.
Once all the subsurface materials are installed, high-end CertainTeed shingles are added, using manufacturer’s recommended installation techniques. We are all Master Shingle Applicators. You see? We do all the homework necessary to earn our reputation throughout Northern Indiana.
